Nairobi residents should brace for more morning rains in the coming days, a latest forecast from the Meteorological Department has said.
The seven-day forecast released on Tuesday says there will be morning rains and afternoon showers in some in Nairobi, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Embu, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, and Tharaka Nithi counties.
Elsewhere, the prediction said
North Rift counties of Baringo, Trans Nzoia, Uasin
Gishu and Elgeyo Marakwet will experience sunny intervals in the morning.
Kenya Meterological Department director Peter Ambenje also said Kisumu, Siaya, Baringo,
Homa Bay, Migori, Nyamira, Kisii, Trans
Nzoia,
Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet and Nandi counties will
experience sunny intervals in the morning with
showers and thunderstorms later in the afternoon.
