Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro has told Governor Amason Kingi to prepare for a major shocker in the August 8 elections.
While accusing the incumbent of allegedly failing to spur any meaningful development in the county despite the huge budget, Mung'aro said time has come for the ODM Governor to be voted out.He added that Kingi is only banking on the ODM party to win the August elections."Kingi is banking on the political party (ODM). He should tell the people what he has done during his tenure. He has failed and has nothing to offer for Kilifi people,” Mung'aro said.Speaking during his campaigns over the weekend, Mung’aro exuded confidence that he will wrestle power from Kingi who he said is an impediment to meaningful development in the county. As a way to enhance his presence at the grassroots, the former Minority Whip in the National Assembly has planted point men in all of the county's 35 wards.
