Mvita MP Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir has sent a strong message to his opponents.
Nassir asked his rivals to prepare for a tough battle in the August polls.“I do not fear competition from my opponents but they should be well prepared. You cannot just rise the other day and ask for votes from residents,” said Omar.The MP warned his opponents against mobilizing and misusing youths for their own selfish reasons.Nassir, who enjoys massive support especially in Majengo area, said he will fully implement his agenda of empowering women, youth and persons living with disability.“In any battle we let the voters decide who the best is but my opponents should not misuse our youths in their quest to clinch the Mvita parliamentary seat,” he added.He said youth in Majengo, Old Town, Bondeni and Floringi were the most vulnerable to criminal activities, adding that he has however transformed their lives through the Skills Mtaani empowerment project.He asked locals in the constituency to vote for him to give him a chance to finish the development projects he has already started.
