Kilifi Governor hopeful Gideon Mung’aro has told NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga to prepare for his fourth defeat in the August 8 general election.
In an interview with the Standard, Mung’aro claimed that Raila doesn’t have the qualities of a president, adding that he will once again be humiliated in his State House bid.“Raila Odinga should brace for another defeat because he has no qualities of becoming the country’s president,” said Mung’aro.He said the ODM Party leader has not learned from his past mistakes and will thus terribly lose to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.The rebel MP also claimed that “Raila’s poor political strategies and selfishness will condemn him to political retirement”.Mung’aro said Jubilee will win re-election, stating that it’s only President Uhuru who has a workable development agenda for Kenyans.He said the country has transformed in terms of development, thanks to the Jubilee government.Meanwhile, the governor hopeful has chided Raila and NASA over their calls for cancellation of the IEBC ballot papers printing tender awarded to a Dubai-based firm, arguing that their concerns are politically motivated.He claimed that NASA was afraid of facing off with Uhuru in the August 8 polls and is looking for ways of snubbing the polls.
