Photo/ the-star.co.keThe supremacy battle between ODM and Jubilee Party-allied politicians in Kwale County which has been brewing for the past few months is back on the cards.Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya set the verbal exchanges in motion after he accused ODM leaders of doing nothing to improve the lives of Kenya.Speaking in Ukunda, Mvurya who is seeking re-election on a Jubilee Party ticket lashed out at the opposition saying they achieved nothing during their tenure in government and that they cannot be entrusted with the leadership of the country."Those in opposition did not even provide the title deeds even though they had the land docket then. We supported ODM but they have done nothing at all," Mvurya said.According to Mvurya, under the Jubilee administration, much has been done in the county key among them being the distribution of title deeds and construction of roads. However, in a quick rejoinder, Msambweni MP Suleimani Dor told off Mvurya saying the Jubilee government had done nothing for the people of Kwale County. The MP told the Governor to be prepared to go home come August."The same way we made you Governor in 2013, we will uproot you come August 8 when Kenyans go to the ballot,” said Dori.Pitching for his election to succeed the increasingly unpopular Mvurya, Kwale county Speaker Sammy Ruwa said he is the man to beat in the August polls.
