Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has been told to brace himself to go home in the next general election.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday at Ekerenyo, North Mugirango constituency residents staged a demo to protest over what they claimed was poor leadership and threatened to vote the governor out in the August 8 elections.
They also accused Nyagarama of giving empty campaign promises in 2013.
"When Nyagarama was doing his campaigns, he promised to foster development in this county and in North Mugirango constituency but we have benefited nothing,” said Zachary Isoe one of the protestors.
“We have no water projects in this area, poor feeder roads, nepotism in the county is rife among other issues. He has been promising development but nowhere to be seen,” added Gladys Moige.
