Garissa Township Legislator Aden Duale has called upon the Somali community to uphold and preserve their culture.
This is after attending the Somali Cultural Week which showcases its identity, Somali songs, attires, food, homestead, children storytelling and a display of a wide range of books in Somali culture, politics and history.
He called upon the Somali community to uphold, preserve and protect their cultural heritage for the future generation.
“You should uphold, preserve and protect our cultural heritage for the future generation,” Said Duale.
The Township legislator called upon the participants to integrate with other communities in the social, economic, business and politics without losing their cultural identity.
