President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday defended his development record in the country since Jubilee administration took power in 2013.

Addressing the party's National Governing Council meeting at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi, Kenyatta said that Jubilee has done much since 2013 pointing out that through his leadership roads have been upgraded, health and education sectors have improved. 

He noted that other projects pending such as re-opening of Pan Paper Mills in Webuye, Bungoma County is underway.

He accused the opposition Cord of numerous attacks to Jubilee administration on corruption matters.  

He urged opposition to campaigns peacefully ahead of the 2017 polls without giving threats to the government.
