President Uhuru Kenyatta has today, Tuesday visited Garissa County accompanied by several other leaders including MPs, Senators and MCAs from the Jubilee Party.
The president addressed the public at Garissa Ndogo grounds and mainly urged them to register in large numbers in the ongoing voter registration exercise in order to vote for Jubilee Administration once again in the August 2017 elections.
“I would like to urge everyone of you to register in the voter registration exercise and vote for Jubilee during elections," said the President.
The President further named the projects that the Jubilee government had made for the locals, from infrastructure, hospitals and drought mitigation programmes.
“You have seen what the Jubilee Government did for Garissa County residents. We have made free maternity for our women; roads have been constructed and tarmacked. We also made easy for the pastoralists to sell their animals during the drought and use the money to improve their lives," said the President.
The president told the public to wait for more development projects and vote for his administration to gain more in the next five years.
“Vote for Jubilee Government in the August elections and you will see what we shall do for you as Garissa County residents for the next five years," added the President.
