[Photo|PSCU]Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri hosted the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) Continental CEO Prof Eddy Maloka on Thursday. They discussed the agenda of the upcoming APRM Summit that will take place on the sidelines of the AU Summit in Addis Ababa later in the month. "During this summit, President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to hand over the Chairmanship of the Forum for Heads of State and Government participating in APRM, a position he has held for 2 years," said Kiunjuri. He said Kenyatta’s term had been historical as it marked the revitalization of the mechanism which he spearheaded and saw more countries reviewed and even more become members than has been witnessed since the inception of the peer review body 15 years ago. The meeting was also attended by officials from the NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat.
