President Uhuru Kenyatta will this week visit Ukambani region.
This is according to State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu who said the roads to be launched in Ukambani include the Kibwezi – Mutomo- Usweini connecting to Tsekuru which is Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s backyard.
“The government committed itself to delivering its projects and that it's just meeting those commitments, anything this administration has said it will do, it has made every effort to do,” he said at the weekly media briefing.
The president will also inspect other developmental projects in the area seen as critical in his 2017 re-election bid.
“Other road projects in the area that are now underway include the Machakos Kenol Ngoleni , Kaani Mututini – Kaseve road, Mombasa Road – Daystar – Lukenya Road Machoko – Lukenya Kenani Athi River Road,” he noted.
Last week, President Kenyatta toured Central Kenya alongside his Deputy William Ruto where he launched and inspected several development projects.
