President Uhuru Kenyatta has challenged Kwale residents to back his re-election bid during the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking on Thursday during his visit to the County, the Head of State defended his tenure for the past four and half years, pledging to do more if re-elected.
"I am building roads such as the Samburu-Kwale one, the Lunga Lunga road and others. I sent medical equipment…which enabled Msambweni Hospital become a level five hospital, among others," he noted.
“I urge you to walk with us and elect me for a second term if you want justice, change and development unlike our opponents who are propaganda experts," he added.
President Kenyatta further endorsed the incumbent Kwale governor Salim Mvurya for a second term.
Mvurya is seeking to recapture the seat on a Jubilee Party ticket after he ditched Opposition outfit ODM.
