President Uhuru Kenyatta has wished all Kenyans a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year, 2018 as it approaches. Through a tweet on Friday, President Kenyatta said the season for politics is over and Kenyans should now use the Christmas season to make Kenya and their lives better. He urged politicians to put aside political issues and let Kenyans celebrate the Christmas eve peacefully in unison. "The season of politics is over and there is need to use the Christmas season and the time to follow to concentrate on bettering the lives of all Kenyans. I wish every Kenyan a Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous and peaceful 2018," President Uhuru Kenyatta tweeted. This however, comes after the National Super Alliance (NASA) announced that their plans to swear in their leader Raila Odinga before the year ends are still in place even after the church and the business community advised them to hold talks instead. Led by their strategist Dr. David Ndii, the opposition slammed the calls by the Church and the business community terming them "Uhuru's projects' to culture electoral problems. The NASA coalition announced that the People's Assembly process will resume immediately after the Festive Season.
