Nakuru Senatorial aspirant Karanja Kabage has applauded the move by the President to reshuffle Principal Secretaries.

Addressing media during a campaign trail in Nakuru, Kabage the move was long overdue

“Wrangles between Principal Secretaries and Cabinet Secretaries have derailed development and decision making in various ministries leaving Kenyans deservg inersvices to suffer,” said Kabage.

He singled out the recent doctors strike which he said took long to be concluded because the principal secretary and his cabinet secretary could not agree on simple matters.

Kabage called on the President to extend the crack down on cabinet secretaries who fail to deliver as expected.

“Kenyans being tax payers deserve services from the government of the day and cannot be made to suffer because of misunderstanding between Ministry officials,” he said.

On budget read on Thursday, Kabage said that the move to allocate Sh100 million for the revival of the pyrethrum sector was welcome but there was need to increase the allocation.
