President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again poked fun at his deputy William Ruto for what he calls ‘loitering’ around the country.
The president’s latest remarks comes just after he termed Ruto as loitering on Wednesday.
His sentiments came on Saturday during the burial of mama Virginia Ciarunji, mother to National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi in Siakago, Embu County.
On this occasion the president made it look like he was endorsing Ruto’s increased crisscrossing in the country.
“I am told there is this primary school where most of you from this village attended which has an issue with the laboratory. So in memory of the deceased I want it to be repaired so that students here remember mama and then when (Deputy President) William (Ruto) will be moving around he will come and inspect it," said the President.
This is the second time inside four days that the President is making the remark, which has been interpreted differently by Kenyans.
