President Uhuru Kenyatta has rubbished the opposition's claims that the State is registering foreigners in the ongoing mass voter registration.
Speaking in Kirinyaga County on Tuesday, Uhuru further accused the opposition of planning to cause chaos after the August elections in case of an election loss, the Nation has reported.
"Kenyans are the ones registering and claims that we are registering Ugandans are ridiculous," he said in Kirinyaga County.
“These claims he (Raila Odinga) is making that we are registering foreigners are just a ploy to cause chaos and reject results if he loses elections. Let us send him home by 6am," he added.
In a statement by opposition leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday, he accused the Jubilee administration of enlisting foreigners as voters through the National Intelligence Service (NIS) observing that it is a scheme by the Jubilee government to rig the August polls.
