President Uhuru Kenyatta's private chopper crashed minutes after taking off from Nakuru, Nakuru senator Susan Kihika has confirmed.

Rescue missions are under undergoing with Kihika confirming that three members of her media team were among five people on board.

The chopper Reg 5Y-NMJ crashed moments before Saturday noon  with four me and one woman on board. 

The fate of occupants is still unknown and it is believed to have taken off from Jarika Hotel, owned by Mrs. Kihika.
