[Photo|Parliament of Kenya]President Uhuru Kenyatta led the country in marking the 39th anniversary of the founding President of Kenya, the Late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Uhuru together with his wife First Lady Margaret, laid a wreath at the Mausoleum of the late president located within the precincts of parliament. They were received by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and his Senate counterpart Ekwee Ethuro.
The president was accompanied by his Deputy William Ruto, Tuesday.Also present were the founding First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta, Chief of Defence Forces General Samson Mwathethe, Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale among others.
