[Photo|PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta, met the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), over fresh presidential election slated for Thursday.During the meeting at Uhuru's Harambee House office, Uhuru said his Jubilee Party, has no demands towards the commission, but rather, to ensure the election proceed as planned.However, later on during an interview with the press, Uhuru said Chebukati told him the following.1. Chebukati, told Uhuru that all was well and the election would be held.2. Chebukati, said National Treasury had released funds to ensure the exercise goes on as planned. Uhuru approved a Sh12 billion Supplementary budget for the fresh poll.3. Chebukati raised concerns over security of his staff in the country, especially in NASA strongholds, where the Opposition leaders have declared the election will not take place.4. Chebukati raised concerns over the country's political temperatures, and differences between Uhuru and Opposition's NASA leader Raila Odinga.On his part, Uhuru said he affirmed Chebukati, that his government will ensure appropriate measures are taken, for him to conduct a successful election.
