Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga to have dialogue in a bid of ending political stalemate.
Mule said the best way the two could end the current political tension in the country is by convening round table talks.
He said Kenya is bigger than individuals hence need for Uhuru and Raila to discard their egos and convene a meeting to chart wayforward for the country.
Mule spoke in Matungulu on Saturday.
The two leaders have been under pressure from Kenyans to meet and solve their political differences over the controversial August 8, general election which have sharply divided Kenyans on regional and tribal lines.
"To my brothers Uhuru and Raila, history will judge you harshly if you don't spare Kenyans the drama that still hangs in the country over the recent election," Mulee said.
"Everything squarely lies on you, choose what is best for the country," he added.
After the hotly contested August 8 election, NASA unsuccessfully pressured the Jubilee administration to hold talks over electoral reforms, a proposal Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto rejected.
Among reforms NASA wanted effected was the IEBC's disbandment following claims that the electoral agency rigged the poll in President Uhuru's favor.
NASA contested the outcome of the presidential poll at the Supreme Court and won the case but withdrew from the repeat poll on October 26 after Jubilee rejected calls to sack IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba and commissioners it accused of rigging the elections.
