President Uhuru Kenyatta revealed yesterday that he and Raila Odinga will traverse the country in the coming days, preaching unity amongst Kenyans.
Jubilee and ODM strategists have been hard at work, working out the unity rallies ahead of time.
''We will be playing as seniors traveling across the country with my brother to preach the message of unity amongst Kenyans. Please welcome us,'' the president said yesterday.
The president spoke yesterday during the Kenya Golf Open in Nairobi.
His words come days after his dramatic handshake between himself and the veteran opposition leader after weeks of mounting political tensions.
The handshake has been hailed by scores of people as a necessary step towards healing the deep ethnic divisions in the country.
