According to , a group called Youth For Peace through their chairperson George Morara holding dialogue with the opposition is a wise idea from the president to follow and will see the two parties reconcile their differences.

“Such demos will contribute to polarising the nation along tribal lines and will see the country plunged into inter-community or post-election violence which we don’t want to witness,” he warned.

Morara urged the government to embrace dialogue to promote unity, peace and stability in the country.

He further called upon political and civil society leaders to respect the constitution and stop championing for the chaos that has claimed innocent lives.

This sentiment comes after the opposition led by Raila Odinga called off the weekly demonstration and called for a dialogue with the government.

The opposition has been pushing for the removal of the IEBC commissioners from office for fair and free election.
