President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially opened the Jubilee County Office in Garissa County, which was part of his main agendas that facilitated his visit to the county.

The President urged the supporters of Jubilee Party in the county to register as members in order to show how strong the party is in the county level and Northern Kenya at large. 

"Opened the Jubilee County office in Garissa and addressed jubilant residents. Urged Jubilee supporters to register as members to consolidate the party's strength in the County and Region," read a post on President Uhuru's Facebook account. 

Some residents who spoke to the writer said that the Jubilee office in Garissa County will help the residents a lot and those who are vying for different posts under the Jubilee Party ticket during this August 2017 elections. 

"The office will ease the political task for candidates and aspirants of various posts in Jubilee Party ticket during this year's elections. We are glad to have this office in Garissa County," said Hassan Mohamed, a resident of Bula Taqwa in Garissa County.
