Presidential aspirant, Nazlin Omar, says she is the ideal person to lead Kenya, as the fifth president.

In an interview, the independent candidate indicated she would cut her a percentage of her salary, to share with every Kenyan.

"If I become the president, every Kenyan will get 50 per cent of my salary. I will take a pay cut, to share with my citizens. Kenyans are suffering, the cost of living is no longer affordable,'' she said.

Omar who also contested in 2007 elections, but lost to Mwai Kibaki, indicated the difference between her and other aspirants such as incumbnet president Uhuru Kenyatta and Nasa's Raila Odinga, was that she is 'clean'.

"Most of this aspirants who have been in power have stolen from Kenyans, and we can not trust them. They have been named in various corruption cases, and they are walking free. Kenya needs a clean president,'' she said.

Omar was speaking during NTV's Sidebar, Wednesday.
