The former Director of Public Prosecutions said his decision to withdraw from the race was because of IEBC failure to stop early campaigns in the country.
Murgor, specifically pointed at the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led team for holding campaigns throughout the country before the stipulated time to do so.
It is still not known what will be the lawyer's next move.
However, political pundits hypothesise that Murgor may join the National Super Alliance (NASA) team after his relationship with the coalition seemed cosy in recent months.

At some point during an interview on Citizen TV, Murgor said Raila Odinga would make a better president than Kenyatta.
