The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission on Monday failed to clear presidential aspirant Erastus Nyamera's nomination papers after he appeared without his running mate.
Nyamera was turned away as he did not have enough signatures, and his degree was not certified.
IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati said Nyamera did not have a Sh200,000 nomination fee receipt, a requirement for every presidential candidate.
Nyamera protested saying he will go to court to demand his rights.
IEBC also rejected the candidature of of Freedom Party's Justus Juma over lack of enough signatories.
