Thirdway Alliance Presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot has accused his challenger on NASA ticket Raila Odinga of undermining the sovereignty of the state.

In a statement to the media, Aukot described Raila's alleged plot to set up a parallel tallying center in neighbouring Tanzania ahead of the polls as "unconstitutional."

“I am worried about NASA’s plans to set up a parallel tallying centre in Tanzania. It offends our Constitution and undermines our sovereignty,” he stated.

“On this day, we are putting Raila and his collaborators, wherever they are in this world, on notice. We are civilised people,” he added.

There have been widespread reports that the former Prime Minister is setting up a tallying center in Kigamboni, Tanzania and that the move has since been approved by the country's government.
