One of Kenya's presidential aspirants has said that Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, deserved to lose the African Union’s top job race.
Nazlin Umar, attacked Amina on social media after the CS lost the AU commission chairperson seat, claiming that Amina was President Uhuru Kenyatta's flower girl and did not deserve to be elected.
In her post on Facebook, Nazlin accused Amina of being selfish for prioritizing her personal interests while ignoring the unfortunate situations of Kenyan citizens in foreign countries.
"Amina Mohamed has watched Kenyans detained illegally in Ethiopia, Uganda, South Sudan,” she posted.
"Kenyans have died in Saudi Arabia and South Sudan and she couldn't have been bothered, she was busy on personal agendas and vested interests against humanity and justice," she added.
Nazlin alleged that the CS had tried to influence African leaders to deny the victims of Kenya Post Election Violence (PEV) justice.
"And she lobbied all the African states to reject justice from PEV victims and supporting and condoning genocidal Leaders in Africa to run rough shod on their citizens without reprieve," she said.
Chad’s foreign minister, Moussa Faki Mahamat is now the new AU commission chairperson after beating Amina in the election held yesterday.
