The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has confirmed that there are about 100,071 names in the voters register, that have identification errors.Commissioner Roselyn Akombe says most of the names differ with ID numbers of the intended voters, a move she said, all the eight presidential candidates were notified.According to Akombe, IEBC held talks with the candidates over the cases, and confirmed that they would both be allowed to vote, since their details were available in the Biometric Voter Identification Kits, which will be used to identify voters on the voting day.Addressing the press, Monday, she indicated all the Returning Officers were aware of the said errors and would allow the affected people to vote. This even as the Opposition's ODM party raised concerns over the errors noticed in the voters register after the IEBC released it to the public for scrutiny and verification, and demanded that KPMG Audit Report be made public, including names of those expunged from register and criteria of doing so be made public.
