Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed, criticised a section of presidential aspirants for wanting to waste Kenyans' time during the presidential debates.
Speaking during an interview on KTN news, Sunday, Junet said that the presidential debate should be between two horses, incumbent Uhuru and National Super Alliance presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.
According to the legislator, the rest of the aspirants eyeing the country’s top seat were not serious.
“I cannot allow my party leader to debate with jokers,” Junet said.
The 2017 first presidential debate will kick off July 10 at 7.30pm,and July 17 at 7.30 pm for running mates, while the final presidential debate will be on July 24 at 7.30 pm.
All the debates will take place at the Catholic University of East Africa, in Karen.
