Two ODM leaders from Narok County now want President Uhuru Kenyatta to take disciplinary actions over his Deputy William Ruto and National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.
Ruto and Duale are accused of demeaning local leaders by using ‘derogatory and inciting terms’ that could jeopardize peace ahead of elections during their tour on Thursday in the region.
Rebecca Tonkei and Ledama Ole Kina now accuses the DP of being disrespectful to the Maasai’s and have called for immediate prosecution of the two.
“Ruto is fond of attacking other leaders including by using of derogatory terms that qualifies to be hate speech. Time has come for the President to take disciplinary actions against him,” Ole Kina said.
On her part Tonkei added: “Duale should know that Maasai community is not his mother or father. He should respect leaders by being sober. Uhuru should order for their arrest immediately.”
The two Jubilee politicians are said to have incited locals to rebel against politicians from the opposition side.
While Ole Kina is keen to capture the senate seat, Tonkei, whose husband died in a plane crash in which former VP George Saitoti died, is going for Women Representative seat.
