The 14-year-old boy is being held at the Eldoret remand home after parents failed to raise sh30,000 bond. [Photo/standardmedia.co.ke]A 14-year old boy was on Thursday arraigned before an Eldoret court facing charges of bestiality with the neighbors cow.The class seven pupil at a local school in Eldoret South is accused of committing the unnatural act on December 20 at Jasho farm in Wareng sub-county in the outskirts of Eldoret town at 2.00pm.According to the prosecution, neighbors together with the area village elder arrested the boy and handed him over to the Kiambaa police station before he was arraigned in court.Appearing before the Eldoret Principle Magistrate Harrison Barasa, the boy denied charges before him and was released on a sh30,000 bond with a surety of similar amount.The court also ordered that the suspect be taken through tests to ascertain his age.He is now being held at the Eldoret remand home after parents failed to meet bond terms.The case has been scheduled for hearing on January 8, 2018.Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Uasin Gishu County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
