Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago has challenged a team developing the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) to capture the recommendation and proposals of the residents.

Speaking during a stakeholders meeting at an Eldoret hotel Mandago said there was need we to prioritize "what the residents want".

"You need to put a lot of seriousness in developing this document," he told the team.

"CIDP should be a blueprint for the county which can be shared with investors and development partners," added the county boss.

The Jubilee allied governor further said the CIDP must have a linkage with national government's 'Big four agenda'. 

"The national government is willing to partner with counties in various sectors and we must align our CIDP with their agenda," he said."

"The document will be a resource mobilization from the national government and partners. That's why we need to get it right this time," he added.
