Private investors have vowed to create ten thousands jobs in Nyamira county in the near future, according to Moke Gardens director Harun nyamboki.
"We will create 10,000 jobs for men, women and youths in 24 months time in this county in order to reduce the number of unemployed people in the county," said Nyamboki.
He was speaking this to journalists on Wednesday at the county government premises when they came to sign a memorandum of understanding between his company and the county government to set up a modern city in the county.
He also added that they will train these people on modern structures which will be used in other neighboring counties in setting up more structures.
"We will train these people on how to use modern machines in setting up the modern structures and they will be used in neighboring counties to set up the cities and also train other people.
The county signed the MoU that will see the modern city done in 24 months' time from now.
