A section of Nakuru leaders allied to Jubilee party have dismissed the formation of the National Resistance Movement by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The leaders led by former Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and Nakuru town West MP Samuel Arama urged Interior CS Fred Matiang'i to investigate the outfit.

According to the leaders, the formation of the National Resistance Movement by the NASA leader is unlawful.

"Security team should probe the outfit which may be a threat to the security in the country. Such movements are not recognized by the constitution and should not be given room to operate in the country," said Mbugua.

Arama said the outlawed  movement will not succeed and urged Kenyans not to be part of it.

"Raila is trying to drive Kenyans into graves. Let him quit politics since he has no agenda for this nation. Kenyans have rejected him," Arama said.
