After days of silence, Farah Maalim has finally delivered his stand on graft in Jubilee Party and the salary allegations in Cord counties that have been linked with the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga.
Maalim now says the issue has been largely politicized by the Jubilee Party, and that it is time that they clarify on the issue by producing tangible evidence on their allegations.
Thee cord-allied politician further added that the public court of opinion was in need of facts and not mere media report without without a proportional action.
"President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto should give us evidence to rebut Raila claims of graft in Jubilee Party. The court of public opinion now demands hard facts from JP to counter period," said the politician.
On salary allegations in Cord counties, Majority leader Aden Duale had claimed that governors were paying the opposition leader monthly stipends and even paying for his occasional trips to their counties.
However, the issue has never been verified since no politician filed official statements with the Ethics and Anti-graft Authority.
