Professor Isaac Kosgei has emerged top in interviews for the position of Moi University Vice-Chancellor.

The interviews were carried out on Monday, November 27 by the selected panel which included Dr. Joshua Koshal, Elizabeth Obel, Vincent Chokaa, David Rono, Samuel Otieno, Hamisi Dena, Isabel Kosgei and Hilda Muchunku

Prof Kosgei emerged the best by getting an overall mark of 76. 

Acting VC Prof Laban Ayiro and Prof Ann Nangulu followed with a tie at 70 marks.

Other three candidates were Professor Maurice Amutabi (66 points), Isaac Kibwage (64) and Joseph Chacha (61).

The results have been forwarded to Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, who will appoint one of the top three candidates.
