The Kenyan-American Professor of law and renown columnist Prof. Mutua Makau has finally tabled his predictions on the individuals who might win the race to Statehouse during the 2022 general elections.
While naming the three presidential hopefuls, Prof. Makau went ahead to explain that the three individuals portray the face of Kenya and if elected they will not be any threat to Kenyans nor other politicians.
While on an interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV's Jeff Koinange Live show on Wednesday 28th March 2018, Prof. Makau said;
"Let me tell you Jeff, the handshake between Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga sealed the 2022 fate. I can tell you for sure that there are only three individuals who will win the 2022 presidential race. These individuals can achieve the top sit individually or work together in whatever formulation say by the introduction of prime ministerial position. These trio are Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Gideon Moi,"
When asked why Deputy President Ruto was not on the list, he answered, " William Ruto is gifted politically but I believe his political career has come to an end. His luck of ever becoming president went up in smoke after the handshake."
Concerning Raila Odinga's political future and if he might vie in 2022, He stated, "I don’t think Raila Odinga will be on the ballot in 2022. He has served this country so well and all he seeks now is a legacy."
