Popular Nairobian actor, TV and radio host Daniel Weke has joined Nairobi politics.

Although he remained secretive on his specific seat of interest, Weke will be contesting for a Kilimani Ward seat on a NASA ticket as revealed by the Standard.

"Mlisema Chameleon ni mnyama AMA?" he posted after changing parties.

This translates to: "You said a chameleon is an animal, didn't you?"

The 'Weka Weke Awake' tagline owner is said to be working closely with NASA leadership in the area and is expected to make a major announcement soon.
