Former Law Society of Kenya President Apollo Mboya has sued the government for launching the Kenya Government delivery portal during the election period.

According to Mboya, the government has violated the Elections Act and he is seeking to restrain the government from advertising its achievements in its new delivery portal.

He has indicated that the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta was a threat to the right to free, fair and regular elections.

He claims that the platform is meant to hoodwink Kenyans to vote for Jubilee.

Mboya wants the court to declare the government portal advertising the government’s achievements as unconstitutional.
