Away from the fast-paced life indulgence, Roysambu is also the address of high-profile personalities who led a quiet life along Mirema Road.
These people are unlike of their boisterous and youthful neighbours. They prefer getting homes from Safari Park Hotel off Thika Highway and never venture towards Lumumba drive.
'That's a generation in its own world. It is an upmarket estate that is quiet. They cannot fit in these kind of youngetsters,' says Frank Kimani, one of the oldest residents in Roysambu.
The gated Safari Park Estate hosts among others former Mururweini MP Kabando wa Kabando, gospel musician Ben Githae, and popular Kameme FM radio presenter Muthoni Wa Kirumba.
It also hosts former Tusker Project fame reality show principal Helen Akoth Mtawali and a former coast MP.
Other notables who reside in Roysambu include Tanzania-born, but Kenya-based musician Nesphory Simbiga, better known by his stage name, Kidis, as well as high-profile journalists.
