South Mugirango MP aspirant Sylvanus Osoro has said the cop who was filmed killing a suspect in Eastleigh deserves a promotion.
Osoro said they is no need of condemning the officer under the pretence of human rights because these criminals have made innocent civilians ‘go through hell’.
“There exists justifiable use of force and cruelty by the police...on the execution of two gangsters in Eastleigh,I stand with the police,” he said.
The ODM politician said criminals are heartless and should be dealt with as such.
“Criminals are ruthless and heartless when they catch up with you, they can kill for a simple thing like a mobile phone,” he said.
He added: “Let the police do their work, huyo askari apewe promotion. Human Rights jiwekee (sic).”
The video that shows the killing of the two suspects has since gone viral since being put on social media.
Police says said investigations are ongoing to ascertain the authenticity of the footage.
Police spokesperson said if proved true, the officer involved will be disciplined accordingly.
