A building razed down by fire[photo|nation. co.ke]A dormitory at Kea Mixed Secondary school in Nyamira County was on Monday partially burnt.

Students property including mattresses and beds were razed down during the incident. However, no person was injured during the unfortunate incident.

Reports indicate the fire might have been caused by electrical fault.

Nyamira North OCPD Maurice Asilah confirming the incident said initial investigation revealed indicated the fire was as a result of power surge.

"There were visible loose wires in the dorm,they might be the cause of the fire,"he said.

He further disclosed that the fire was put off before it consumed the entire building.
