According to the school Head teacher Mr Noah Ombewa, the roofs were blown away and walls of the classrooms weakened by the stormy rain that hit the area last evening.

Mr Ombewa stated that the three classrooms were housing Classes 4, 5 and ECD pupils and are now in bad state and can no longer be used until they are properly renovated.

He therefore called for assistance from well-wishers and the government through the ministry of education to come to their aid.

He lamented that the damage is too much for the parents to manage by themselves saying that it is barely 4 weeks for schools to reopen.

Two days ago Nyawita Primary school in Bondo Sub County also suffered similar loss after the roof of administration block and classrooms housing class 7 and were also blown away.
