Ahead of the much awaited prayer and healing crusade by Dr. Prophet David Owuor in Nakuru, his followers have decided to clean up the town.

The followers on Thursday engaged in a cleanup exercise around the town as they prepare to usher in their church leader. 

Residents were left amazed by the act.

"I was amazed why they were cleaning up the roads, I had to stop and gaze at them. I have not seen this before,"said Milka Njoki.

One of the followers said Owuor must find a clean town when he makes his way on Friday.

Unusual traffic jams were witnessed on Thursday as hired vehicles ferried thousands of his followers. The prayer rally will open on Friday and close on Monday.
