Mighty Prophet of the Lord David Owuor's church was on Monday brought down in Nakuru as the region continue to experience heavy downpour.

The Ministry of Repentance and Holiness, Mchanganyiko Altar, in Bahati constituency was destroyed when heavy rains coupled by a strong storm hit the area.

"There were people inside but no one was injured during the incident," a member of the church who is at the helping reconstruct the church said.

Volunteers are now on the site doing the groundwork to ensure the building is up again.
