Two people have been shot dead, in Nairobi's Mathare slums.The deceased were among protesters who had barricaded roads, protesting over alleged rigging of presidential results, by NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga. Photos showed some protesters carrying clubs and weapons, across Mathare streets, with one police saying "we are told many of them were also thieves who took advantage and could not even obey the police. Two have been fatally wounded." The officers were sent to calm the situation.This even as similar protests were witnessed in Kisumu town, Wednesday.Below are some of the photos from Mathare, courtesy of AFP.
