President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to receive the three names from which he will choose the new EACC chairman within a week.
According to the Daily Nation, the Public Service Commission said Friday it will meet to make delibaerations for a week before forwarding the names to Uhuru.
This week, the commission conducted interviews for the six candidates it had shortlisted to replace Philip Kinisu who resigned over corruption claims.
They include retired Anglican Archbishop Eliud Wabukala, William Kipkemboi, Philemon Mwaisaka, Peter Bita Ondieki, Rose Bosibori Osoro and Erastus Iguna Rweria.
"The Commission wishes to notify the general public that it will, within seven days, deliberate on the perfomance of the candidates and recommend three persons to the President for consideration for appointment," said PSC chief executive and secretary Mrs Alice Otwala.
