Public Service Commission on Friday said that President Uhuru Kenyatta will get the three names for top EACC post within one week from which he will pick new EACC chairman.
In a statement on Friday, PSC said that it will deliberate on the names for a week before forwarding the names to the President.
"The Commission wishes to notify the general public that it will, within seven days, deliberate on the performance of the candidates and recommend three persons to the President for consideration for appointment," said Mrs Alice Otwala, secretary and CEO public service commission in a statement.
The three names will be picked from six candidates who were interviewed; Archbishop Eliud Wabukala, former managing director of the Agricultural Development Corporation William Kipkemboi, Philemon Mwaisaka, former inspector general of State corporations Peter Bita Ondieki, Rose Bosibori Osoro, Erastus Iguna Rweria.
