David Pkosing, the Chairman of the National Transport Committee, now wants the diversion of heavy tracks to be undertaken as a way of dealing with the menace of road carnage.The Pokot South MP says that the frequency of accidents involving trucks was way higher than those that did not.In an interview, Pkosing proposed trucks heading to Kisumu take the Molo route while those heading to Eldoret use the Eldama Ravine route.''We will be able to reduce road carnage this way, pending the construction of a dual carriageway,'' he said.There has been a huge public outcry following a series of fatal crashes.
